Hi, I recently picked up a Captain Hook pinball in a yard sale.  It is in great condition except for the MPU board.  There was major acid damage to the two main chips but no damage elsewhere.  I bought two new chips from Action Amusements and placed them in new sockets in the board.  The machine is still not booting, leading me to believe there is more damage than I thought, or I need to make some modifications to the board for the new chips. If anyone knows where I can get the board repaired or knows what I should do, please let me know.  I would also be willing to buy a whole new board if someone has one.
Thanks, Griff

Chances are real good that the battery acid has eaten it's way under the sockets that you removed your chips from. You will need to remove the sockets, clean, neutralize the acid, and repair traces if you ever want it to work again. Sorry for the bad news.
