Game Plan board repairs

I would like to thank Jason for the plug. Yes I do have a Game Plan test fixture that I acquired from a distributor after Game Plan folded years ago. We've been repairing pinball's for over thirty years and because this distributor was close, we did get into quite a few Game Plan pinball's over the years. The big problem now is that these games/boards have extensive acid damage on them due to the position/placement of the battery. I don't think I've seen a clean MPU in over ten years. It is very time consuming to repair these at a labor rate of $69 per hour. For value to the customer I feel that you may be better off replacing the board with the new MPU that is now being offered. If acid damage is greater than a few inches, take the jump. I know, I know, you only paid $40 or $50 for the game, but think of the enjoyment you will have with it working again. Not only that you've just increased the value of your game to $500. Worth it you decide. I just hate seeing these go into the dumpster because of a bad MPU. That will never happen in my shop. guaranteed.
