I recently acquired an Agents 777, bought your ebook on GamePlan repairs. When it starts up the led flashes 5 times on the MPU which according to your book it says to replace U12, U13 and U26 one at a time, but I do not have anything in U26. On my MSU the U10 is also empty. Can I purchase these missing proms?

Also I get lights on the playfield but the backboard gets no power, any thoughts?

Thanks for any ideas, I am a new to this first pinball machine.

The MPU-2 and MSU boards were used for most of their machines and I remember Agents 777 doesn't use all the ROM slots. There should be two ROM chips for the CPU and one for MSU.

When working on machines that are 25+ years old, IC sockets and wire connectors can be faulty (so can old ROM chips.) If you have general illumination on the playfield, but not the back box, trace the wires back to the connectors and track it down.
